Phillip

Owner/Managing Director

Phillip, a Certified Macintosh Technician, took over iRepair New Plymouth from previous owner and founder Jacob Meads in 2022.

He now runs this business alongside his other business MacTorque, and has spent nearly 20 years servicing Apple products, with over 5 of those working for and managing the former New Plymouth MagnumMac Store (now Oobe – NZ’s largest Apple stockist and specialist), and 16 years with MacTorque.

An avid musician of 30 years, outside of work Phillip teaches music and is involved with the local theatre community as a Music Director and Conductor. He is also a seasoned world traveller with a penchant for Europe, cuisine, culture, cars, aviation, wine, and coffee!

Bailey

Assistant Manager & iRepair Extraordinare

Bailey has been with iRepair almost as long as it has been around! A former FDMC student, Bailey came to iRepair as part of the FDMC Gateway scheme which quickly led to full-time employment with his quick learning ability and diligence. He has extensive knowledge of mobile devices, how to repair them, and provides tech support and assistance to customers of all ages with the utmost empathy and friendliness.

Outside of work Bailey also loves to travel, exploring NZ almost every long weekend!

Italo

iRepair Extraordinaire

Italo came to us from Brazil, and has now made New Plymouth home. Italo has also become a superb mobile device technician in the years he has been with iRepair. He has a calm and collected mindset which enables him to take on challenges with ease. Unlike Phillip and Bailey, Italo is firmly in the Samsung camp, and is often teaching them tips and tricks in the Android system.

A self-confessed football fanatic, he often has a match playing on a screen while at work, and is an active player in the local football scene.
